please help me on how to welcome guests
at a wedding what to say what to do I am petrified the wedding is in 5
days
You don't mention whether you will be
making the welcoming speech at the ceremony or at the reception. If it
is at the beginning of the ceremony, it should be short and simple.
Welcome and thank the guests on behalf of the bride and groom for coming
to witness the celebration of their marriage. Mention that it is a
joyous occasion that brings you together today and you wish God's
blessing on the ceremony to follow. You can use your own wording, but
something sincere but short.
If you are welcoming guests to the
reception, your speech might be a little longer, but not much. Welcome
them and thank them and say that you hope they will enjoy the evening
(or afternoon).
