Q.
Would it be okay (or would it be too corny) to
have a Christmas themed wedding in the middle of December? Or is the
time appropriate? We want to have the wedding at 6 PM at a small
church. At the reception we're having a dinner and dancing. I want
to go fairly simple yet beautiful. Any ideas/suggestions/tips or
websites that you know of to help me plan a Christmas wedding? Also
what colors do you think I should use?? I've heard so many things
(like emerald green and ruby red, hunter green and white, white and
pink, etc.) any tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated!
A.
Stay with the red, white and green color theme
and use props such as mini Christmas trees for center pieces and
ornaments or small stockings as favors. You can find both at
craft stores and get them reasonably priced. If your crafty, you
can personalize them yourself. You can put mistletoe up and play
Christmas songs, have eggnog and apple cider, and decorate the
hall with white twinkle lights and wreaths.
The point is, you can go as simple or as
elaborate as you want, but either way, this is sure to be a
gorgeous wedding. Seeing as I myself was married during the
Christmas holiday, I have tons of ideas so if you need more
help, please don't hesitate! Good Luck!
