We are both remarrying for
the second time. We have chosen his brother to do a
reading. First of all he feels doing a reading on behalf
of the parents that are no longer with us would not be in
good taste. The next reader feels that we should have God
into the second reading. My fiancé and are of not the same
religion and we are marring in a chapel that is of no
particular faith.
You can choose whatever you want for the
readings. You don't need to mention your parents or have a scripture
reading. There are many lovely poems and readings from literature that
you might use. Check the
ForeverWed.com poems section
and look at the readings listed on other wedding sites. I am sure that you will find just the right thing for you and
your fiancé.
