My husband & I will renew or Vows in a private ceremony at our church. We would like to write our personal vows however, I have no idea how to get started. It is our tenth year anniversary . Can you help with ideas of renew vows samples.

Congratulations on your vow renewal.  To get started, you might take traditional vows (you will find samples on this site and on other sites) and alter them slightly, saying something like, "I vow to continue to love you, cherish you....... till death do us part."  Then you might add those special things that you want to promise to one another based on the experiences of the last 10 years.  For instance, if there have been health challenges, you might vow to "continue to love you and stand by you in sickness and health, in good times and bad."  The main thing is to be sincere in what you promise to one another.

Best wishes to you for many more years of marriage.
