Who should be invited to the rehearsal dinner?

The ones that need to be invited to the dinner include everyone who attends the rehearsal with the exception of a church organist if you don't know the person well.  You should invite parents, grandparents if they attend the rehearsal, the wedding party, the wedding coordinator, and the minister.  You may choose not to invite the flower girl and ring bearer if they are too young to understand what is happening.  If you do invite them, invite their parents as well.

If you can afford to, it is a courtesy to also invite relatives who have come from out of town and who would be left to spend the evening alone if not included.  The dinner gives the two families an informal opportunity to get acquainted.
