My fiancé and I are
Christians, but some people in our families are not, Should we serve alcohol
at the reception?
The decision to serve alcohol or not is totally up to your preference, no
matter what your beliefs or those of your guests.
Alcohol is an expensive beverage, and its excessive consumption at weddings is
the cause of many problems and unpleasant situations. If you prefer not to
serve it, that is your choice. As long as you offer sufficient amounts of
other beverages-- coffee, tea, punch, sodas, or whatever you prefer-- that
should be fine.
Enjoy your wedding! Best wishes--
