Q.
I am adding an insert to my wedding program, I
would like to put a vase of roses on the alter, each rose
representing a loved one that has passed away and could not be
there for our special day. How do I make it look
tasteful.
A.
Usually memorial flowers or
candles are used in memory of those who have recently passed
away or of a deceased parent. Your message can be quite simple
and straightforward, something like, "The flowers on the altar
are in memory of our loved ones who are not able to be here to
celebrate our special day with us:
Sarah Brown, grandmother of the
bride
Steven Jones, younger brother of
the groom"
