  ForeverWed.com Planning > Appropriate Places

How do we locate the perfect place to have our ceremony. We have decided against getting married in a church as we are an interfaith couple yet we don't want to upset any of our parents. Are there any other places suitable for marriage ceremonies other than the church?

There are usually *many* appropriate wedding locations, besides churches, in any given city or town.

What's "perfect" for you will depend on your expectations, interests, tastes, budget, etc., but look at the situation open-mindedly.

Likely types of locations where you might be able to hold your wedding
include:

~ hotels
~ public parks
~ public beaches
~ public gardens
~ country clubs
~ historic sites/homes
~ restaurants
~ museums
~ galleries
~ bed and breakfast inns
~ private homes
~ and more.

A call to your local chamber of commerce or visitors/convention bureau may lend other ideas.

Best wishes to you!!
