I just got married and plan on keeping my maiden name, which is Xxxx. Am I now Mrs. Xxxx or Ms. Xxxx?

Your question is one that creates much confusion.  You would be called Ms. Xxxx, since the term Mrs. indicates that you are the spouse of the person who has the same last name.  Though you are a spouse, your groom's name isn't Xxxxx, so you technically are not the spouse of the named person.  Make sense?  To be called Mrs. Xxxx would be to call you by your mother's married name.
