Q. I haven't told my maid of honor that I want her to be the maid of honor yet. I have just told her that I want her to be a bridesmaid for now I want to tell her the news in a special way and I just don't know how.. I really want to give her a book on being a maid of honor and how I think she is so very special.. all that good stuff. But I cant seem to find any books on that.

A. There are no books on being a maid of honor because there really isn't enough information for one. How about writing your friend a letter or finding a special card and including a note. You can invite her to lunch or out for coffee then give it to her. Just knowing how you feel should make her very happy.
