My in laws included their pastor and wife as guests for the  wedding and reception.  Their pastor is not involved in the ceremony.  Do I  need to make sure that the guest pastor is sitting at the parents table or  can they be seated anywhere.  Of course, my Pastor and His wife will be at the parents table.  I wasn't sure about the "guest" pastor.

Since the pastor is coming as a friend of the family, treat him like the
other guests.  He might feel embarrassed if he were treated in a special way when he didn't participate in the service.  If, however, he and his wife won't know anyone else at the reception, then you might want to seat him with the parents or close to them.
