I am looking for a reading for my 11 year old son to read during our ceremony.  Some people have suggested readings from Pooh, Charlotte's Web or The Little Prince.  Can you help me with specific passages that might work? 

Off hand, I cannot think of any particular passages in the books you mention which would be particularly appropriate for a wedding, although I know that there are some in them about home, acceptance, and contentment.  So I'm not sure what these people were suggesting.  You might ask them for specifics.

However, since I have a couple of sons about the same age, I was thinking that there is no reason the reading needs to be from a child's
book.  A boy of 11 is pretty grown-up, usually.  I think he'd enjoy  making a reading which makes a serious contribution to the wedding.  Iwould suggest that you also consider some of the  other, more traditional passages about love, life or commitment.

The first that came to my mind as very appropriate for a "third person" reading (as opposed to something you might say to one another) is The Beatitudes from the Bible (Love is patient, love is kind... )   I can envision a young man reading that to his mother and her groom and it being quite moving.  Corinthians 13 is another Bible passage often quoted for weddings which your son could also read.
