Q.
My fiancé and I have been together for 20+
years. We are having a courthouse ceremony with only a couple of
relatives present. He is Jewish and I am Christian. I want to be
able to send out after wedding announcements using my own design, paper, etc.
I am just look for a sampling of short verses I could use to convey to
long-distance friends and relatives that we finally took the plunge.

It isn't necessary to send
out a formal written announcement. Begin by telling your parents, siblings,
grandparents, and other close relatives and friends. The word will quickly
spread. If your local newspaper accepts engagement announcements, you can also
send a notice to them. If you live in a smaller community, that is a quick way
to let many people know.
