Q.I would like to ask you a question about receiving gifts from people at my reception.  The question may be supid,but I have to know. Well my wedding in August on the 26th of this year. It will be held in Barbados,West Indies where my fiancée is from. I would like to know if it's ok to ask for money instead of gift, due to traveling back from Barbados to New York. My sister-in-law who lives there says that there in Barbados is very expensive and hard to get thing of the island. What should we do?
