would love to sing a song at my daughter's wedding. For some reason I am having
difficulties in finding a song from mother to daugther. Do you
have any suggestions?

A. Hi, Loretta. I am responding to
the question you submitted to ForeverWed about a song that you could sing at your
daughter's wedding. I understand you were specifically looking for something that
focused on the mother-daughter relationship.
While there are many beautiful songs you could sing at your daughter's wedding, I'm not
sure there is an existing wedding song that focuses on the mother-daughter relationship,
especially from the standpoint of the mother. This is probably because it is so rare
for a mother to sing at her daughter's wedding! It is a lovely idea, however!!!
I think you have two choices: (1) sing a song that you think is beautiful and
meaningful, even if it doesn't specifically focus on the mother-daughter aspect; or (2)
have someone write a
custom song for you that does focus on that relationship.
