Questions

am getting married  it is an interfaith marriage.  My fiance is Jewish and I am catholic.  I read Rabbi Devon A. Lerner's sample interfaith wedding and would love to have our ceremony with a priest and a rabbi, but I can't find two people willing to perform the ceremony.  Would you know anyone that could help me locate a rabbi and a priest that have done this before.

Unfortunately, it can be quite difficult to locate officiants of two such diverse religions who are willing to perform a wedding together.  You don't mention where you are located.  If there are wedding coordinators in your area, you might try calling one and asking if they can recommend someone to help you.

Since only one of the officiants will actually sign the marriage license, the other person doesn't have to be a licensed minister.  Therefore, you might find a Catholic deacon or someone in the Jewish community who is willing to "represent" their religious community at the wedding.  This would give you more flexibility in the wording of your interfaith service.

Best wishes to you.
